Our Sales Executive opening is an externally focused sales position focused on production and retention of new and renewal clients.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Production of new commercial business with a primary focus on workers’ compensation opportunities.

  • Handling assigned/existing book of commercial business primarily workers’ compensation based.

  • Routinely visit with prospects and clients to establish and maintain Propel’s value proposition.

  • Ensure delivery of service plans meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Work collaboratively to support Enterprise/Production Team sales opportunities as a team specialist in workers’ compensation.

  • Community involvement.

Experience and Skills:

  • Insurance Agents/Brokers license required.

  • 3 or more years insurance sales experience preferred or equivalent carrier product marketing experience with a focus on workers’ compensation.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of the market place and products relating to workers compensation.

  • Professional designations a plus.

  • Specific industry expertise a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while keeping open communication within the team.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and goals.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Basic Excel and Word knowledge.

  • College degree preferred.

  • Must have valid Driver’s License and dependable vehicle.
